Best Farmers Markets on the Treasure Coast
One of the easiest ways to get a feel for a place is to visit its farmers market, and the Treasure Coast has several genuinely good ones — worth a Saturday morning even if you’re only in town for a few days.
Our picks
- Fort Pierce Farmers Market — a Treasure Coast institution, right on the waterfront, with local produce, seafood straight off the boats, and live music most weekends
- Port St. Lucie Green Market — held at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center, with local food vendors, crafts, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere
- Downtown Stuart’s market — smaller and more boutique, worth combining with a wander around Stuart’s historic district
What to expect
Expect fresh citrus in season, local honey, baked goods, and usually a food truck or two if you’re after breakfast on the go. These markets run rain or shine most Saturday mornings, though hours shift seasonally, so it’s worth a quick check before you head out.
It’s a nice, low-key way to start a Saturday before a beach day or a pool afternoon back at the house.
